What is a Keyword you might ask? According to Wikipedia:

keyword is a word which occurs in a text more often than we would expect to occur by chance alone. Keywords are calculated by carrying out a statistical test (e.g., loglinear) which compares the word frequencies in a text against their expected frequencies derived in a much larger corpus, which acts as a reference for general language use. AntConc is a freely available text analysis tool capable of calculating keywords

One of the many things that you can do is make sure to have some kind keywords in your post from something like some these according to Google Trends:

If I were to talk about “naacp” or even “innerstart u american girl“, these are what we can consider being Keys which helps a search engine find your post and this would help your post be put on the front with the others that are talking about these. I used the Google Adwords Tools and look into the keyword of “Security Now“. The Global Monthly searches for that term is 22,000 and the local monthly searches are 14,800. As you can see having a good keyword in either the title or the blog post can drive more people to your site by either having something that people are for particular terms. Some of the famous terms can drive traffic to your site, creating that small chance for someone to subscribe to your blog or give you that little bit of commission from your ads on your site.

Watch your site keywords is an important aspect of running a blog. You would need to make sure not to have a negative term such as having Google slap on “Is a scam?” or ” Is a Rip-off” can make blogging even harder to cultivate users or readers. Having Google do something like that can be very detrimental to how your blog is perceived in Public. Some bloggers will use current keywords to make money online. This could make yourself look like spam so you should consider the value of blogging using current keywords and will the make you blog better or will people think you are spamming.

What do you do when you come up with a blog? I would like to hear from you and how you decide what keywords are important to you!!

There is an UPDATE??

Recently Adobe has instituted a new process of letting users know about a new update. Although when I first saw this, I thought I’d gotten some kind of virus or Trojan. I must say that I’ve seen these types of fake updates in the past from Fake update warnings to fake Youtube sites. So you must understand when this popped up, I thought this was scam of some sorts.

What is the AdobeARM.exe Process??

According to Some, this process is “Adobe Reader Manager“. What really bothers me about this process is that Adobe has said nothing in their customers about this update feature that they have implemented into Adobe Reader. I’ve Googled the process and I can’t find anything from any Adobe employees on the first page. You really have to dig to find out what the process when it comes to Adobe’s new update feature. Other sites that you go to suggest this is a virus and encourages you to download a Rogue Antispyware software. The Fake antivirus software are starting to get their hands on how to scare people into installing fake scareware into their systems.

Will there be a time when I shouldn’t Update??

There will always be times when you must consider these pop ups as being fake or trying to get you to install fake software for nefarious reasons. You best bet is when these guys pop up is to the source and update manually. This way you know what your downloading and need not worry about installing anything that might be a rogue update. I would go to Adobe Website directly and download the newest update. You can go to http://www.adobe.com/downloads/ and download them manually. This seems the best option for most people.

How can I get rid of this process??

You can follow the instructions from the forums from Adobe to get rid of the process and it’s registry keys. All I know if the malware authors haven’t started to use this, they soon will. I suspect people should be cautious of this type of update and think twice before installing anything that you can not see where it is being downloaded from.

Disney Pictures, Has went full out with the Polorized 3D Glasses. I really like these new glasses because it definitely didn’t make my eyes hurt or even get me a headache. So I thought I would talk about how Disney could make it even more enjoyable for their customers who want to watch all their movies in 3D:

I thought about this and I would say giving them a 20% discount would encourage more people to buy 3D glasses and keep them coming back. I see a whole lot of ways where all these Film studio’s could bring in even more cash if they would only combine their efforts. Selling 3D glasses with Games or computer systems, and making a good profit on what people buying 3D Glasses.

Standardize the 3D Glasses — This is one of the most essential ways to be feasible to want to have a discount on tickets at the theaters. I say that because we have so many different 3D Glasses that can be bought out right and that can add a hindrance with people buying their own 3D Glasses. If people know they can bring their own 3D Glasses they are more apt to buy them and use them at Home or at the Theaters.

Find ways to integrate the Polarized 3d Glasses with Games — I think if the Film studios want to make it even more desirable to have 3D glasses they need to start developing games and hardware to integrate with game systems like Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, or Even 3D Laptops. As you can tell they are starting to develop laptops that are capable of 3D. If you have went to see Toy Story 3 or other movies that require those 3d glasses, bring them home and play 3d Games on your laptop. They are right now start selling3D Televisions that seem to be able to have 3D home theater experience at home. Some of the TV’s are really cheap and should work to run 3D movies or games on! I can’t wait to try them out later. Only if I can find drivers or programs to make my laptop show 3d for these 3D polarized glasses.

As you can see these are just 3 easy steps to encourage people to bring their own glasses into theaters, for one it would in the long run cost less to have glasses in theaters and thus bringing in even more people to see even more 3D movies. Like I said, the difference between Polarized and Red/Cyan glasses are they are more easier on the eyes and actually make you believe your in the movie. I liked what I saw when I went to see Toy Story 3 using the Polarized Glasses. I would definitely tell people to go see it and decide yourself but I was quite impress with the movie and seeing it in Real 3D movie. I can’t wait to see some other movies like this one. It was more of a Pleasure to watch this then previous 3D movies.

The Search Engine Conundrum and how effects you

We all have had this question asked from others and possibly to ourselves. Do Search Engines put any weight on comment links or do they not use them in the first place? According to one comment and I’ll quote:

<quote>Google is well aware of where comments start on a blog, and they have stated that those links are given less weight (if any). Same goes for footer links.

From Keith</quote>

So I have to ask myself does all these search engines work the same or could he be wrong? I don’t know about what some would call spam, but this one blogs does make some good points on the subject. I’ve read blog posts about the DoFollow, which I might start doing to get better comments other than the few that seem dubious as best!!

“Great Post”
“I am subscribing to your blog!”
and On and On!!

These types of comments really bug because I want to start a conversation with my readers and get some value out of posting as well as reading from them. So you can see what others have to say. So I created a poll for this question. If I get enough of a response I will post it later and talk about it later.
