Hulu’s Down by 2, Roku’s Ahead by a Mile!!

As I’ve had the Roku for the past month, I wanted to talk about this a little. I talked about how you can watch Hulu Cheaply on your TV set but that can be a pain a pain.

Now we’ve heard in the past that Hulu might become a pay site and rumors of the $9.95 subscription.   Although it might just be speculation it would be interesting to find out if they will sooner or later offer this service for people who have Roku to pay a nominal fee per month.

In all truthfulness we haven’t connected my laptop to the Television set lately because of all the new movies and shows that come out on Netflix.  So I thought about how Hulu could make even more money by offering Hulu with a nominal fee to the Roku Community who live in the US.  Even if they only charge $5 dollars a month, I would definitely pay that much.

I find it so much easier to use the Roku box and not having to hook up my laptop to the TV set. Hulu is down by 2 and Roku and Netflix are #1 in my household right now. There are only a few that I watch on Hulu from time to time, these include Naruto Shippuden and FlashForward, which is a show on ABC. I would take a guess that sooner or later that ABC and CBS will be coming to Roku because of the potential for showing their advertising.  I’ve been able to start from the beginning of Amazon : Lost Series on the Roku.  When the final season of Lost becomes available on Netflix, I will be able to watch it on the Roku also. I can’t wait for the final season to come to Netflix. If you want Hulu to join Roku you can send an email to them and tell them you would like to see it on the Roku. If enough people ask for them to come to the Roku they will listen. I have talked to them in the past and they said:

No plans at this time, we’re focused on the PC experience, but we’re always listening to user feedback. (Hulu Editor)

So Go ahead and email them tell them what you want. They do listen and I am sure if enough emails go to them they will make it happen!

Have a Good Wednesday, I’ll see you Friday!!

You could buy a Roku or a Tivo to watch streaming videos on your TV:

Roku SD Player ($79.99)

Roku HD Player ($99.99)

Roku HD-XR Player ($129.99)
