I’ve been using this phone for the past month to two months and I thought this would be a good time to talk about this little phone!! Where to begin is hard because the features are to much for me to go into detail.

What is the Best feature of this phone?

Now I know that I am not the only one that thinks this but I would have to say the GPS Turn-by-Turn direction. The reason behind this is simple, I can’t afford to buy a GPS Navigation, like and keep it in my car. The neighborhood is notorious for car robberies. So This is a good option to have for those driving to an area that they have no clue to get their. This actually acts like a Garmin or Other such products telling you in Voice where to turn and shows you on screen. I simply love this feature because when I have an appointment to a place that I am unfamiliar with I turn this on and use it!!

What are some other good features?

Depending on what service plan you have, I also like the Family Locator for those emergencies with kids who like to do their own thing or when you just need to find them. You can always get the Sanyo 2700 Prepaid Phone for Kids with 1 year of GPS, Blue (Kajeet) and have that for your kids to use and also be able to locate at any time, as long as they have the cell phone on them at the time. Another good feature is the Email feature, you can check Gmail and other web based emails through the phone and have more than 1 email account for the phone, if you have a sprint plan. I am unsure if this goes to other cell providers but I know it does it on Sprint.

How Durable is the Sanyo 2700 Phone?

I will say this without a doubt, that this is a really good phone for durability. My wife has on occasion drop this phone down two flights of stairs and it is still working without no problems. I however do recommend buying Sanyo 2700 Skins and Covers to better protect your phone or you can go check to see if insurance is available with your cell phone provider.

What is the down side of the phone?

I don’t know if it is just this phone or with every Sanyo 2700 Phone, but my battery life has dwindled over the past month. I might look into buying a better Battery for it. Although this is normal for any Cell phone, I’ve found it to be really cheap for a new Sanyo SCP-2700 Battery. I’ll probably also invest in a Sanyo SCP-2700 Car Charger for it also and keep it hooked up in the car to prevent the battery from going bad all over again. That should in theory prevent this from getting bad again for a while, although I must say the Cell phone batteries are cheap only 11 to 12 dollars, I can afford new ones every once in a while.

Overall thoughts on the Sanyo 2700 Phone?

With all the features of this phone, You get more than what you paid for with this phone. I think if you really think about it, you can pretty much have the phone pay for itself in the long run because of the features of the phone. I have no doubt that it has been a big help finding locations and keeping me updated on the web to say this phone is really useful and durable. I will let you decide but for me, I simply love this phone. I would tell anyone who is looking for a phone to go check this out this phone.
